Refund Policy
No fine print: if it didn't work out, you shouldn't pay for it. Here is exactly how refunds work at Talkhada.
First regular lesson — 100% money-back guarantee
If you're not satisfied with your first regular (60-minute) lesson, contact us within 24 hours after the lesson and we'll refund that purchase in full. You don't need to give a reason.
1. Unused credits
Credits you haven't spent are refundable. Contact us and we'll refund the unused portion of your purchase at the price you paid. Credits never expire, so you can also simply keep them for later.
2. First regular lesson guarantee
The guarantee above applies to your first regular lesson. Send us a message via the contact form or email within 24 hours after the lesson ends, and the full amount of that purchase is refunded. The $7 trial lesson is not covered by this guarantee — it exists precisely so you can try the service at minimal risk.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
You can cancel a booked lesson up to 24 hours before it starts and your credit is returned instantly. Cancellations within 24 hours of the start time, and no-shows, use up the credit. Rescheduling is cancel-then-rebook under the same rule. If your tutor cancels, your credit is always returned regardless of timing.
4. How and when refunds are paid
Refunds go back through PayPal to your original payment method. We process every approved refund within 5 business days of your request; depending on your bank or card issuer it may take a few more days to appear on your statement.

- Cancellations within 24 hours of the start time are not refunded.
- Bookings close 12 hours before the lesson start time.
